Too honest .....stop digging

When did that happen ? Just had a young bloke in  the shop buying his partner a handbag. He loved the leather french totes but was unsure of colours, too much choice...well we do have that style in 29 colour styles !  ( seriously) . We narrowed the colours down to two and I offered to try the bags on for him. I asked him “is she like me? “ His reply was “yes but not if you know what I mean.....kinda slimmer than you and no offence younger but not in a bad old way.......just normal old” ( stop digging) . I laughed no offence taken .....he bought the caramel coloured leather french tote and was really pleased with it. It has made me smile.
